Mini reunion in Tampa/Clearwater, FL
Our group of Kindleyites are planning on getting together the weekend of August 3rd. We are trying
to see who would be interested in coming. What we usually do is meet at the Holiday Inn Express in Clearwater, FL and
just sit around the hotel and chat, swim. look at pictures and have some REAL Dark 'N Stormies. There are two or three
restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, so we don't travel anywhere, but if you want to go somewhere, no one will
stop you. You can be a tourist if you like. The regulars who ALWAYS show up is Ken Glanister, Bob Olander, Fred
Johnson, Adrianne and Carole Jenkins, Jacque Springston, Chopper Davis and myself, Dianne Bauer and my mother, Thelma Bauer.
If you find anyone who would be interested in joining us, please have them get in touch with me and I will
give them the hotel information. I just don't have it in front of me at the moment and have to look it up. And
we don't have the current price of a room as of yet. Ken Glanister takes care of that part of it.

Regarding the 2008
Kindley/Chaffee Reunion:
When: 2008 - maybe
Where: Las Vegas Nevada
We still need volunteers to make this
happen. If no one steps up to head up the committee then it is likely the reunion will be postponed to 2009 or 2010.

Tentative ideas being tossed around via
email:
1. Have a full-blown reunion, with hospitality suite, Dinner, DJ, Event T-shirts, Snacks in the Hospitality suite, Drinks
in the suite..etc
2. Do NOT make this a full-blown reunion. Instead... make this a large "mini" - offering only the Hospitality Suite.
No Dinner, No entertainment no formal events. Hang out at the suite, and scatter to enjoy the Las Vegas entertainment in small groups or by yourselves. Meet back at the suite later in
the evening for a night cap. Possibly have fixed times to meet there so the hosts can leave and do their thing too.
3. Timing.: It has been suggested to make it a winter or spring event instead of July 4th weekend when it is the hottest.
4. Timing: It has also been suggested it could be in the summer so the kids are out of school. ( we still have kids in
school?)
5. Timing: Also suggested to make it a Mon-Thursday event to take advantage of lower room and air rates.
Just need YOU to step up and take command,
find a consensus and make this happen.

So far Pinky Nielsen up Sacramento way has volunteered to be on the committee but not to chair it.
